Aggies postpone third game due to COVID-19 issues

COLLEGE STATION (Talk1370.com) -- The Texas A&M men's basketball team has postponed a third consecutive game due to COVID-19 issues within the program, school officials announced Sunday.

Wednesday night's matchup against Georgia joins last week's matchups against Vanderbilt and Arkansas, and is the fourth game overall on the A&M schedule to be postponed due to COVID-19 issues. Earlier this season, COVID-19 protocols within the Vanderbilt program caused a postponement of a Jan. 20 tilt against the Commodores.

The Aggies' last game was a 68-61 win at Kansas State on Jan. 30, as a part of the Big 12-SEC Challenge.

The postponement follows a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Aggies' program, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 management requirements.

Make-up dates have not been determined for any of the games.
