(Talk1370.com) -- As the Texas Longhorns make their move to the Southeastern Conference for the 2024 season, the burnt orange faithful can already start planning one familiar trip to the Brazos Valley.

The SEC unveiled each team's eight conference opponents for the 2024 season Wednesday evening, including road and home games.

Kyle Field will play host to the 119th installment of the A&M-Texas matchup, which dates back to 1894. The game is the most-played rivalry for both schools, with the two teams evenly splitting the last 30 meetings.

Texas won the last meeting between the two schools, 27-25, back in 2011, before the Aggies left the Big 12 for the SEC.

Dates and times for the games will be determined at a later date.

In addition to the home game with Texas, A&M's home games against SEC conference opponents will include LSU and Missouri. The Ags' regular matchup with Arkansas at AT&T Stadium in Arlington will count as the fourth conference home game. Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, and South Carolina will comprise the road slate, with a non-conference slate including Notre Dame, McNeese, Bowling Green, and New Mexico State.

Texas' first conference games under the SEC banner at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium will include visits from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Mississippi State, with road trips to Arkansas and Vanderbilt. The annual Texas-Oklahoma rivalry at the Cotton Bowl will continue as well, with the Horns as the designated visiting team.

Texas' 2024 non-conference schedule features Colorado State, UTSA, and ULM, in addition to a road game at Michigan on September 7.

With the addition of Texas and Oklahoma in 2024, the SEC is eliminating divisional standings, with the top two teams in the conference standings playing for the SEC Championship at the end of the season. Additionally, each of the 14 existing SEC teams will play either Texas or Oklahoma during the season.
