(SportsRadio 610) - Jose Altuve is back.
The Astros activated their star second baseman from the 10-day injured list Monday ahead of a three-game home series against the Seattle Mariners.
Altuve missed the last 11 games with a hamstring strain. He was placed on the injured list after legging out an infield single against the Los Angeles Angels on April 18.
In his minor league assignment, Atluve batted .429 (3-for-7) with a double in two games for Triple A Sugar Land.
Altuve had been struggling to start the season, even prior to the injury. He is slashing .167/.268/.250 in his first 36 at-bats.
