(SportsRadio 610) -- Astros starter Jose Urquidy has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder discomfort and the team activated Ryan Hartman from Triple A Sugar Land.
Urquidy was pulled from Tuesday's start in the second inning against the Baltimore Orioles at Minute Maid Park after just 27 pitches.
Urquidy, who missed time earlier this season due to a shoulder injury, was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday afternoon. Manager Dusty Baker said the team would know more by the end of the day.
Francis Martes was designated for assignment to make room for Hartman on the 40-man roster.
