Despite his lawsuit against the NFL, Brian Flores remains in the running for the Houston Texans head coaching job.
According to multiple reports, Flores is one of three finalists for the Houston Texans job, along with former QB Josh McCown and Eagles defensive coordinator Johnathan Gannon.

Flores, 40, is the only one of the three with prior head-coaching experience and he has ties to general manager Nick Caserio back from when he was an assistant with the New England Patriots.
Of course, the Texans may have had no choice but to include him as a finalist due to the potential optics of retaliation for his lawsuit had he not been included, as Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk noted.
Flores is risking his future as a head coach in the NFL with a lawsuit he filed on Tuesday alleging racial discrimination practices in the hiring of positions such as head coach, as well as accusing Dolphins owner Stephen Ross attempting to pay him to lose games on purpose.
Flores, who had a second interview with the Texans on Monday, has acknowledged that he informed the organization of his lawsuit. He has also informed the New Orleans Saints, where he has also interviewed for head coach.
He has said that he does not plan to drop the lawsuit if he is indeed hired.
