DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys' offense will get a boost today, as wide receiver Michael Gallup is active for the first time since suffering a significant calf strain in Week 1.
That's the good news...

The bad news is that Dallas will be without All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith for the second consecutive week. Despite his struggles last week against the Broncos, Terence Steele will once again start in place of Smith.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Cowboys will be without their top two pass rushers with Randy Gregory landing on injured reserve after he suffered a calf injury of his own in practice this week. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Lawrence remains a couple weeks away from returning (foot), so the defensive line's depth will be tested today vs. the Falcons.

Defensive ends Tarell Basham, Dorance Armstrong, and Chauncey Golston, as well as linebacker Micah Parsons are the next guys up on the edge.
Defensive tackle Trysten Hill is active for the first time since tearing his ACL in Week 5 of the 2020 season.
