NFL Network’s Steve Wyche joined Dukes & Bell to talk some NFL with the guys and talked about why former Falcons head coach Dan Quinn is one of the hottest head coaching candidates in the league.
When asked if Dallas could move on from Mike McCarthy for one of the coordinators.
“As for Mike McCarthy, it doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere and what’s going to be interested is if Dan Quinn and Kellen Moore get head coaching jobs,” Wyche said. “And Dan Quinn, trust me, is one of the hottest candidates out there. He’s probably going to get a job and maybe Kellen Moore. So then what does Mike McCarthy do?”
Wyche told the guys that Quinn was responsible for Dallas’ success this season.
“I know people down there on that staff and they told me that Dan Quinn, what he did to get the players to play that they did at that level all the way around on both sides of the ball. He was a huge, huge reason why Dallas made the strides they made.”
