(SportsRadio 610) - Texans rookie quarterback Davis Mills has six starts under his belt from filling in for then-injured starter Tyrod Taylor.
Mills entered the second half of the Week 2 matchup against the Cleveland Browns before starting the next six. In that time, Mills threw seven touchdowns and eight interceptions. He completed 67 percent of his passes on 6.5 yards per attempt.
The Texans lost each of those games.
In the three games since Taylor's return, the veteran has thrown two touchdowns and four interceptions. The Texans are 1-2 with a win against the Tennessee Titans in those three games.
With Houston sitting at 2-9, it raises the question whether the Texans should be prioritizing Mills' development and evaluating him before they make offseason decisions at quarterback.
In this episode, Clint Stoerner & Ron "The Show" Hughley discuss whether the Texans need to see more from the rookie third-round QB.
