DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Miami Dolphins have agreed to a two-year, $14 million deal with former Cowboys guard Connor Williams. The contract calls for Williams to receive $7.5 million in guaranteed money, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Williams, 24, was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2018 draft out of Texas. He started 51 of the 57 regular-season games he appeared in over his four seasons with Dallas.
Williams' departure was expected, as the Cowboys believe they can upgrade at the position through the draft or free agency.
Williams led all guards in penalties last season, but he did play tackle at Texas, and could possibly be moved to that position with Miami, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN reports.
