DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Florida tight end Kyle Pitts proved once again why the hype is real at his pro day Wednesday, but should the Cowboys draft another offensive player with so many holes to fill on defense?

According to one NFL insider, they should "sprint" to pick him if he's still available when they make the 10th overall selection. The GBag Nation also discussed if it would be wise for the Cowboys to draft Pitts.

Pitts is one of the most hyped tight end prospects of a generation, but first-round tight ends have been big disappointments among recent NFL drafts. Will Pitts be different? His performance at his pro day says so.

Pitts, 6'5" and 245 pounds, was timed at 4.44 in the 40-yard dash. His broad jump was 10'9" and he had a vertical leap of 33.5 inches. What was even more eye-opening was his more than 83-inch wingspan, which is longer than any other wide receiver or tight end who had previously been measured at the Combine in the last 20 years.
