(SportsRadio 610) - Just a little more than a week after the Astros lost to the Atlanta Braves in the World Series and pitching coach Brent Strom announced he would not be returning to Houston in 2022, it appears he has already found a new place to work.
Strom will join the Arizona Diamondbacks as their pitching coach, Ken Rosenthal and Andy McCullough of The Athletic reported Friday morning.
Strom, who makes his offseason home in Arizona, had been the Astros' pitching coach since 2014. He is widely credited with developing nearly 100 pitchers through the Astros' system in that time.
