Rangers third baseman Josh Jung won AL Rookie of the Month in April and May but Orioles shortstop broke out of his early-season slump to win the award in June.
Meanwhile, Red Sox rookie outfielder Masataka Yoshida, who spent the first several years of his career playing professionally in Japan, continues to play well in Boston.
While Jung was the starting third baseman for the American League in the All-Star Game, it doesn't necessarily mean that he'll win Rookie of the Year.
Here's a look at where each player stands with less than 1/3 of the season remaining:
Josh Jung: 19 HR, 58 RBI, 62 Runs, .272/.323/.485/.808
Gunnar Henderson: 15 HR, 41 RBI, 49 Runs, .247/.343./.472/.815
Masataka Yoshida: 11 HR, 50 RBI, 51 Runs, .317/.378/.503/.881
According to multiple betting websites, Jung is still a slight favorite, but will he be able to hold on?
