DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys entered last Sunday's game riding a six-game winning streak. Their opponent, the Denver Broncos, had lost four of their last five games. The point spread (Dallas -10) reflected what was supposed to be a significant Cowboys win. But, the opposite happened.
Dallas ended up getting routed 30-16, with all of the Cowboys' points coming in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

Cowboys' owner Jones was among those to be caught off guard by his team's defeat, describing the loss as "overconfidence" in his weekly Tuesday morning visit with Shan and RJ on 105.3 The Fan.
But his Cowboys won't make the same mistake again this week against a Falcons team that has won three of their last four games and is coming off a road win in New Orleans.
"This is a challenge. And this is going to be a significant game for us. But, I can tell you one thing, you won't have any overconfident people come into that stadium with the team and the coaches. We've had that cheese," Jones said Friday on the K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan.
The Cowboys will enter Sunday's game minus their two top pass rushers, as DeMarcus Lawrence continues to recover from a broken foot and Randy Gregory was placed on injured reserve Thursday with a calf injury, knocking him out for a minimum of three games.
The offensive line will likely be forced to protect quarterback Dak Prescott without the services of All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith. Jones isn't completely ruling him out, though. You can hear more of his thoughts on Smith in the audio below.
The good news for the Cowboys' offense is that they'll be getting receiver Michael Gallup back this weekend
after he has missed the team's last seven games with a calf injury.
