(SportsRadio 610) - Last week was eventful for the Houston Astros.
Not necessarily the win-loss results, but the injury spree was striking.
Since last Wednesday, closer Ryan Pressly was placed on the injured list with neck spasms. Outfielder Chas McCormick dislocated his finger.
But most importantly, slugger Yordan Alvarez had treatment on his left hand, just over a month after spending time on the injured list with a right hand injury. Then Houston's ace, Justin Verlander, was removed from Sunday's start after three innings with a calf injury.
Payne & Pendergast discuss it all.
Plus, does Lance McCullers Jr. not look like himself out there? Is this the perfect storm for the Astros?
