Dallas (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks have announced that American Airlines Center will be increasing attendance to nearly full capacity for their upcoming playoff games.

The Mavericks begin their playoff run in LA tomorrow for the first of two games at the Clippers, before returning to Dallas for games three and four on May 28th and 30th.

In addition to the increased capacity, the Mavericks will also be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination event on Victory Plaza outside the AAC before games three and four, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. This event is being run in partnership with the City of Dallas by the Texas Military Department Mobile Vaccination Team and is open to all Texas residents aged 18 or older.

Appointments are not required and walk-ups are welcome, however, anyone planning to receive the vaccine will complete vaccine screening and consent forms. After the vaccination, participants should be prepared to be observed for 15 minutes afterward.

The vaccination being administered on-site will be by Johnson & Johnson.
