If the Dallas Mavericks have one glaring weakness on their roster, it is in the front court, where the team's lack of size could prove to be an issue as they head towards the playoffs.

And according to ESPN NBA Insider Tim MacMahon during an episode of the Lowe Post, the Mavs could already be looking ahead for a way to fill that void -- Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz.

"I've heard from, externally and internally, the Mavericks would have significant interest (in a Gobert trade)," MacMahon said. "I know well Rudy well enough to know that he would love to play with Luka."

The Mavs, who traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans, have been primarily utilizing Dwight Powell in the center role since the trade.

This season, Gobert has been his typical dominant self on the defensive end, averaging 2.1 blocks per contest.

On offense, however, Gobert has also had one of his best seasons, averaging 15.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, and hitting a career best 71 percent from the field.
