DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Rangers stunned the baseball community when they announced the firing of president of baseball operations Jon Daniels on Wednesday after he spent the last 20 years with the organization.
Rangers pre and postgame show host Jared Sandler joined the K&C Masterpiece on Wednesday's show to react to Daniels' dismissal.
Several media members and fans of the team also weighed in on the club's surprising announcement. See some of their comments below:

Jon Daniels did not build that “near juggernaut”… Nolan Ryan did.

The lines of demarcation for the rise and fall of the Rangers was the Ryan taking charge of the entire organization and losing the power struggle to Daniels and leaving the organization.
Jon Daniels had some great moves (2007 Teixeira trade or hiring Ron Washington), he’s had some unlucky acquisitions (Prince Fielder, Yu Darvish), but he’s also had too many horrid moves than one tweet can characterize. Firing JD was the right thing for the @rangers to do.
