Just six days after the Astros won the World Series, team owner Jim Crane moved on from James Click, the general manager of the past three seasons.

As reported by the Associated Press, it is believed to be the first general manager change following a World Series title since 1947, when the Yankees replaced Larry MacPhail with George Weiss.

Longtime Astros scribe Michael Schwab published a detailed report on what went wrong with Click and the Astros, specifically the now former GM's philosophical differences with Crane.

Seth Payne and Sean Pendergast react to Click being let go and try to assess why Crane hired him in the first place.
