The Cowboys are going to be in the market for a new starting center as Tyler Biadasz is signing a three-year, $30 million deal with the Washington Commanders, Pro Football Talk reported Monday, the first day teams can legally begin discussing contracts with other teams' free agents.
The news isn't unexpected as Dallas didn't have plans to bring back Biadasz this offseason and will instead look to fill the starting center spot elsewhere in free agency or through next month's draft, which includes a plethora of talented offensive linemen.
Biadasz, 26, was taken by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2020 draft out of Wisconsin. He started four games in his rookie season and became the team's full-time starter in 2021, starting in all 49 games he played over the last three seasons.
He was selected to the NFC Pro Bowl roster in 2022.
