HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- While Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is interviewing with other NFL teams with head coaching vacancies, reports indicate he's declining to interview with the Texans.
Eberflus, widely considered to be one of the most sought after head coaching candidates, had been scheduled to interview with the Texans on Sunday after Saturday's playoff game at Buffalo.
Now, he's only meeting with the New York Jets on Sunday, then the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The Texans are expected to go in a different direction with their head coach search after hiring former Patriots executive Nick Caserio as their general manager.
