Come on, Stephen A. Don't play with us... You know we're 105.3 The Fan and that Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones comes on our airwaves twice a week. Good try, though!

The ESPN personality fired back at the Cowboys' flagship after 'Shan and RJ' revealed Smith's critical comments about Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to Jones on Tuesday morning.

"First of all. Let me say this. What is that radio station ... 105.3," Smith questions on ESPN's 'First Take', pretending to not know who we are.

The wonderful Molly Qerim then steps in. "105.3 The Fan. You know what it is. He does (two interviews with them) every week."

Back to Stephen A.

"Let me tell y'all something out there. You can't divide me and Jerry. You can try. You can't divide me and my libra brother. It ain't gonna work," Stephen A. said in response to The Fan.

The whole back and forth started when Shan Shariff asked Jones on Tuesday for his thoughts on his pal and 'secret fan' of the Cowboys, Stephen A.

"Well, I might need to get tuned in with any of his latest,” Jones said. “I run hot and cold on him.”

Then, the conversation moved to Shan asking Jones to comment on Stephen A. saying on 'First Take' Monday that Prescott is the Cowboys' "weak link" and that Jones "hasn't gotten his money's worth" out of the quarterback after signing him to a four-year, $160 million contract last spring.

“I can say that’s not correct," Jones said in response. "The reason that I – not the reason, that’s unfair to Dak and all the players on the team – but the strength that I look at of our chance to win a championship is Dak, and his leadership at that position. His leadership, but because he plays that position, let me say it that way. ... But I don’t think that’s accurate.

“Dak brings us the separator, now does that mean Dak is going to win every game or make every comeback or every key situation? You can answer that one, of course not. But by the same token, if you were constructing the possibility of competing for a Super Bowl, I would start on this team right there with Dak. He’s that integral to us really being able to have the year that we want to have”

Jones' comments traveled fast to ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., prompting Stephen A.'s swift response to The Fan and Jones on Tuesday's edition of 'First Take.'

"Now, I understand Jerry Jones has got to take that posture. But he's the one cutting that check. Not me. He's the one that's been waiting for a Super Bowl championship. He's the one that dolled out $95 million over the last two years for that quarterback. Not me. So, he can take that position and y'all can listen to exactly what he says, and I'm not saying he's lying," Smith said. "But, what else is he supposed to say, 'In Rush I trust. I don't care about Dak Prescott?' Is that what he's supposed to say, 105.3 The Fan? Stop it.

"I don't have anything against (Jerry Jones). That's my brother right there. It's them damn Cowboys fans that get on my nerves. But Jerry Jones, he should run hot and cold (with me), because it looks like I'm rooting against the Cowboys. I'm not rooting against them. I'm rooting for the misery of that damn sorry, nauseating, disgusting fanbase that gets on my last damn nerves. And I will never apologize for that. I hope y'all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year according to my standards, not yours."

And a Merry Christmas to you, too, Stephen A. We're still waiting for you to join us after Jerry comes on with us each week.
