HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) -- Texans tight end Pharaoh Brown returned to practice Friday after being sidelined this week with ankle and shoulder injuries.
Brown, who had four catches and a career-high 67 receiving yards in the Texans' 37-21 season-opening win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, did not participate in practices Wednesday and Thursday.

Brown was seen participating in team drills during the Texans' outdoor practice Friday at the Methodist Training Center across from NRG Stadium.
A Cleveland native and former Browns player, the Texans' starting tight end made it clear earlier this week he's looking forward to the homecoming.
"Probably some food. I called my mom, I need a home-cooked meal when I come back," Brown said when I asked him about what he's most looking forward to about going back to Cleveland (the Texans played there last season, losing 10-7). "But honestly, it’s just always fun playing home. It’s kind of always a personal game for me. I’m just excited to go back and hopefully have better results than when we went back there last year."
