(SportsRadio 610) - Lonnie Johnson Jr.'s time with the Texans is done.
The team traded their former second-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, just three days after selecting top LSU cornerback prospect Derek Stingley Jr. with the No. 3 overall pick in this year's draft.

Houston is trading Johnson for a conditional seventh-round pick, according to Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson.
Johnson struggled to find a consistent role in Houston. He started seven of 14 games at cornerback as a rookie in 2019, then switched to safety in 2020, when he started five of 16 games.
Last season, under a third coaching staff in as many years, Johnson was switched back from safety to corner. He started seven of 14 games played, and 57 percent of the defensive snaps.
All three of Johnson's career interceptions were recorded last season. He also has 13 career passes defensed, three quarterback hits and a tackle for loss in his three seasons.
