The Texans are waiving tight end Kahale Warring after two seasons with the team, John McClain reported Sunday evening.
Warring, a third-round draft pick by the Texans in 2019, struggled to get on the field in his time with Houston.
Warring dealt with nagging injuries and spent his rookie season on injured reserve.
Last season, Warring played in seven games, but mostly on special teams. He caught three passes for 35 yards on three targets.
In this training camp, Warring fell in the depth chart behind Pharaoh Brown, Jordan Akins, Brevin Jordan, Ryan Izzo and Antony Auclair.
