COLLEGE STATION (Talk1370.com) -- Texas A&M's 2021 matchup against Colorado will be played at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, officials announced Monday.
The series was originally a home-and-home matchup, but COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the 2020 matchup. The schools have agreed to move the remaining game on Sept. 11 to the neutral site, home of the NFL's Denver Broncos.
Texas A&M wrapped up the 2020 season on an eight-game win streak, the longest streak by the Maroon & White since the 1998 campaign, to finish the season 9-1 and ranked No. 4 by both the AP and Coaches Poll. In the regular season, the Aggies went 8-1 against an all-SEC slate as they compiled the most victories against conference foes since joining the SEC for the 2012 season.
The Aggies are set to open the 2021 season at home on Sept. 4 against Kent State. Other non-conference foes on the slate include New Mexico and Prairie View A&M.
