COLLEGE STATION (Talk1370.com) -- COVID-19 issues within the Texas A&M men's basketball program have forced a postponement of Wednesday's game against Vanderbilt, athletics officials announced Tuesday evening.
Consistent with the Southeastern Conference's COVID-19 management requirements, a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the program prompted the postponement.
All activities within the basketball program are paused.
It's the second time the Aggies and Commodores have had a game postponed this season. The first scheduled meeting between the two teams, originally scheduled for Jan. 20, was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Vanderbilt program. That game has yet to be rescheduled.
