5-Year-Old Busted Driving to California to Buy Lamborghini

Most 5-year-olds can operate a toy car, but when you were that age, did you drive an actual vehicle?

A 5-year-old boy was pulled over by Utah police while driving his parents' car to California to buy a Lamborghini, reported CNN.

And he only had $3 in his pocket.

Police in Utah reported the boy left for a joy ride to the west coast after arguing with his mother when she said she would not buy the luxury car for her son. A trooper saw the SUV weaving in and out of lanes on Interstate 15 at 30 mph.

Utah Highway Patrol posted the image of the 5-year-old to Twitter with his face blurred. One trooper initiated a traffic stop when he thought it was an impaired driver. It turns out the driver was the young boy who had made his way to the highway.

Once the car was able to stop, the child told Morgan that he planned to drive to California to buy the sports car.

Morgan said no one was hurt, and it will be up to a prosecutor to decide whether or not to press charges against the parents. It was reported that the parents left the boy in the care of his sibling while they were away.
