Governor Doug Ducey announced Arizona schools will resume in the fall.
In addition, summer school, day camp and youth sports can take place this summer, with social distancing and other safety modifications, reported ABC15.
State education officials will release detailed guidelines for reopening schools on Monday, June 1st.

State Health director Dr. Cara Christ noted schools would have the leeway to reopen with smaller classes and with more intense cleaning protocols in place. Frequent hand washing and eating lunch in the classroom will also be encouraged.
As far as the continuation of remote teaching, Ducey said it would be available “where needed,” but didn’t elaborate.
Arizona’s stay-at-home order went into effect on March 31st and expired on May 15th.
Some school districts in the state are set to reopen as early as July.
