Comcast announced Monday that they would be pledging $100 million to battle systemic racism, sexism, and homophobia in the country.
The media giant took to Twitter with the announcement, writing, "Racism, hate, and inequality have no place in our company or society. We are committing $100 million to a comprehensive, multiyear plan focused on social justice, our employees, awareness & education, digital equity and small businesses."

"While we recognize we don't have all the answers, we agree it's time that we start putting our words into real, sustainable action," he continued.
The company allocated "$75 million in cash and $25 million in media that will be distributed over the next three years" towards efforts aimed at putting an end to injustices in the form of racism, sexism, and homophobia.
Roberts continued, "We know that Comcast alone can't remedy this complex issue, But you have my commitment that out company will try to play an integral role in driving lasting reform. Together, we hope to help create a more equitable, just and inclusive society."
Comcast's announcement comes on the heels of the announcements of many other companies who have pledged solidarity in fighting racial injustices in the United States.
