The constant threat of wildfire in California has some rural residents considering the unthinkable.
For a kid, owning your very own fire truck sounds like a dream come true. There are deals to be had right now on Craigslist. Several of them, actually.
To be blunt, the personal, used fire engine market is exploding like wildfire.
For just $17,000, one of these big red machines could be yours. As one Craigslist ad reads, this particular unit features ladder and hose racking, a slide out pump tray in bed, cargo basket and a couple of spotlights. Another Craigslist ad asks for a cool $69,000 for a 2,500-gallon truck.
If that's too much, how about a $49,000 unit?
