Krispy Kreme is turning 83 this Friday, and to celebrate, they want to give their customers some sweet treats for free!
The doughnut chain announced that a dozen of their original glazed doughnuts will be given away for free with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts on Friday, July 17.
Our #Birthday FREE #OriginalGlazed dozen offer will be available for all drive thru, online pick-up and delivery orders. #KrispyKreme shop lobbies will only be open for pick-up of online orders on our birthday. #DoughnutsAll info here: https://t.co/QDvr25vfGr pic.twitter.com/CNTLqUIXoI

The offer is valid at participating U.S. and Canada Krispy Kreme shops, but it is not valid with any other offers. U.S. customers can also redeem the offer for a delivery order, but the doughnut chain has specified that it’s only available through their website or app, and not through third-party delivery services like GrubHub or UberEats.
To redeem online, use the code KKBIRTHDAY at check-out.
Earlier this month, Krispy Kreme surprised fans with a limited return of its popular Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts.
The company dubbed the return #TGIC, or Thank God It’s Chocolate, because the item is Krispy Kreme’s original glazed doughnut covered in chocolate decadence.
While it was only available in stores for one day on July 10, it had been brought back previously on May 29, and Krispy Kreme has announced that they’ll be bringing them back again on Friday, July 31.
In March at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the doughnut chain announced that it would be providing healthcare workers with free dozens of donuts every Monday through May as a way of showing their appreciation and gratitude.
The promotion kicked off on Monday, March 30, which is also “National Doctors’ Day,” and continued through “National Nurses Week,” which runs May 6 through the 12.
