Kansas City, KS - The KCK school board voted Tuesday night to delay the start of its school year until after Labor Day, and then conduct school online for the first nine weeks of the school year.
The district was scheduled to start back August 12th.
In making the decision, the school board said it was honoring the executive order from Gov. Laura Kelly delaying the start of school until after the holiday due to the spike of coronavirus in the state.
