With people beginning to leave their homes and get back to normal life, many are looking for ways to continue avoiding germs and practicing social distancing.

Luckily, Apple is here to remind users how to stay safe from the coronavirus.

In their latest update, Apple will include a new Apple Watch feature that will let users know when they didn't wash their hands for at least 20 seconds.

Okay now this is cool. Apple introduces hand washing: Your Apple Watch can sense how long you wash your hands and coach you to make sure you're doing it for as long as you're supposed to. This will be used in hospitals and clinics. #WWDC2020

The hand-washing guide includes a counting down timer, along with motion sensors and the ability to listen to water splashing against hands in order to help guide the user to better hand washing skills.

Apple is hoping the new feature not only teaches users about properly washing hands, but could help them improve in the medical sector.

They will also be including a new emoji wearing a face mask in their upcoming update.
