Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to the hospital for treatment of a “possible infection” Tuesday morning, but is now “resting comfortably,” the court said in a release.

Ginsburg was admitted to The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore early Tuesday morning after being evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C., for “fever and chills,” the court said in a release Tuesday evening.

“She underwent an endoscopic procedure at Johns Hopkins this afternoon to clean out a bile duct stent that was placed last August,” the release said. “The Justice is resting comfortably and will stay at the hospital for a few days to receive intravenous antibiotic treatment.”

The court didn’t immediately release any additional information about Ginsburg’s condition.
