DALLAS (KRLD) - Kelly Plasker, a local Lubbock newscaster, was found dead on Monday following a distressing final social media post on Sunday. She was 42.
Plasker alleged in the post that she was coerced into a relationship with a high school teacher.
Plasker's employer, KCBD Channel 11 in Lubbock, released a statement following her death.

Plasker's death comes just two years after the death of her son, who died of suicide. The cause of her death has not been released, although the station did air a tribute to Plasker, in which they pleaded with those in trouble to "ask for help if you're struggling or had thoughts of suicide."
