Lee's Summit, MO - A plane made a near-perfect emergency landing in the eastbound lanes of I-470 just past Douglas Street on Tuesday afternoon.
The pilot wasn't injured, nor were any drivers, and no apparent damage to any of the cars and trucks on the interstate.
Numerous people driving on the freeway at the time captured the landing and the aftermath.
Facebook user Nate Frazier was driving eastbound on 470 and captured video and photos of the plane landing.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said via Twitter that the pilot was making his final approach to land at the Lee's Summit airport when he experienced sudden engine failure in one of two engines.

The plane was taken off the interstate around 3:30pm Tuesday.
