Hurricane Helene’s catastrophic damage spans hundreds of miles and has uprooted lives and communities forever. The American Red Cross has launched a massive response to ensure no one faces this challenging time alone.

More than 1,700 Red Cross disaster responders are working around the clock with our partners to get help to those in need. Right now, our focus is on providing safe shelter, meals, emotional support and relief supplies for people facing unimaginable destruction across spanning hundreds of miles from Florida to Tennessee, across Georgia and the hard hit areas of the Carolinas.

People affected by Hurricane Helene need urgent help now, and we can’t do this alone. You can help by making a financial donation by visiting here.

If you need assistance, the Red Cross may be able to help. We know connectivity is difficult, but if you can, first download the Red Cross Emergency app to find service locations or visit redcross.org/gethelp. If you’re unable to access the information you need, call 1-800-RED CROSS (800-733-2767) or get updates from local radio and television stations.

If you need assistance connecting with a loved one, visit Reunification After Hurricane Helene | American Red Cross and provide as much detail as possible.

Join us in supporting the American Red Cross. Your Disaster Relief gift will help people whose lives have been upended by wildfires, storms, floods and countless other crises. Your gift will not only help with immediate needs like food and shelter, it will also put people on the road to recovery and guide communities as they better prepare for disasters.
