KANSAS CITY - Sedgwick County Commissioners have approved establishing an addiction intervention coalition with the city of Wichita.
The board also approved naming Commissioner Jeff Blubaugh to the opioid advisory council. He will join the other 11 members as a non-voting ex-officio.
Once the city approves, the coalition will be tasked with putting together a plan to utilize around $15 million in opioid settlement funds.
