KANSAS CITY - A veterinary clinic in Kansas says a three-year-old dog is on the road to recovery after more than 75 elastic hair ties were removed from his stomach.
Hodes Veterinary Health Center in Rose Hill said "Henry," a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, was brought to the clinic for an exam to schedule his neuter.
While there, his owners said his breathing was different, so they wanted to have that checked and that led to the discovery of the dozens of hair ties in Henry's stomach.
The vets say the little black and tan spaniel should be feeling better soon and hopefully he'll stick to his snacks from here on out.
