KANSAS CITY - A man connected to a fatal shooting near Haysville over the weekend has been arrested.
Sedgwick County Sheriff's Deputies located the suspect at an apartment complex in the 7100 block of W. Shade Lane on Monday afternoon.
The Wichita-Sedgwick County SWAT Team was activated, and area residents were asked to evacuate or shelter in place as the investigation took place.
Sheriff Jeff Easter said the man quickly surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.
Officials say there are no other outstanding suspects.
