Kansas City, MO – The Whataburger craze has officially hit Missouri as the chain's first location in the KC Metro opened on Monday. And the line that afternoon was something to behold.

And after just 15 minutes, the line was officially on the nearby interstate:

The line continued for the entire day and into the evening, with many others on social media sharing photos:

Whataburger will be opening 30 Whataburger restaurants in the Kansas City area over the next seven years, thanks to the help of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

Within the next few weeks, there will be another Whataburger just 15 minutes away from the Lee's Summit location.
