KANSAS CITY - A 27-year-old man has been arrested after a shooting Sunday night in the north part of Wichita, south of 13th & Grove.
Police investigators say the man shot a 25-year-old relative during a fight shortly before 10:00 p.m. Police found the victim in a vehicle in a driveway, with a gunshot would to his mid-section; the victim was hospitalized, and remains in critical-but-stable condition.
Detectives believe the shooting started as an argument outside the home between the two family-members before escalating to gunfire.
Community tips helped police track the suspect to an area near Harry & Edgemoor, where he was taken into custody.
