KANSAS CITY- One person was killed in a shooting on a city bus in west Wichita.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon near Douglas and Meridian.
Investigators have not yet determined what led up to the shooting, between the two men, who apparently did not know one another.
A man, 54, died at the scene, and a suspect, 34, is in police custody.
Five people, including the driver, were on board the city bus, which was moving at the time of the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
