Man shot to death in north Wichita

KANSAS CITY - Police say a 50-year-old man has died after being shot in north Wichita Sunday afternoon, in the 700 block of North Piatt. Officers found people giving CPR to a man who had been shot in the upper body. He died at a hospital. His identity has not been released. WPD is looking for three people of interest in connection to the shooting.

Wichita Police Chief Joe Sullivan spoke to reporters at the scene, calling the incident "another senseless, needless act of gun violence". Sullivan said "everyone deserves justice and everybody deserves for this to stop".
