KANSAS CITY - A new reality TV series will look very familiar to lake goers in Missouri.

Ozark Law, an A&E series production, will premier on national TV today, January 8th. The COPS-like, ten-episode series follows the Lake Ozark Police Department and the Osage Beach Police Department as they navigate a busy summer lake season at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Filming took place over the summer last year and ended in early fall.

Home burglaries, broken down cars, out of control parties will all be featured in the show, along with one episode that includes a story with a tragic ending.

Officer Phylicia Carson died on August 31st after a high speed chase led to a crash. Her patrol car slid off of the road and hit a tree before catching fire.
