KANSAS CITY - A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Cowley County Saturday evening.
The incident happened around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of US-77 and 242nd Road.
The Cowley County Sheriff's Office said the vehicle was driving north on US-77 when it hit the pedestrian who was walking in the road. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. That person's name has not been released.
