
KANSAS CITY - A 61-year-old Wichita man was arrested Saturday in connection with the fatal crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle Friday night.
It happened just after 7:10 p.m. Wichita Police responded to the scene at W. 42nd Street and S. Seneca. Officers found the 27-year-old motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver was heading north on Seneca and attempted to make a left turn onto 42nd Street when he struck the southbound motorcyclist.
Our partners at 12 News identify the suspect as Brian Adrian. He was arrested and booked for involuntary manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The name of the victim has not been released.
This is the eighth motorcycle fatality in Wichita in 2025, matching the yearly average for the city.
This case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office for formal charges.
