KANSAS CITY – Police in Kansas City, Kansas, are investigating the city's first homicide of 2025.
Investigators were called to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of South Valley Street around 2:30 this morning. First responders found one man dead inside a home, a victim of apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
