KANSAS CITY - The film version of St Louisan John O'Leary's life finally has a release date. "Soul On Fire", the movie shot in St Louis in the fall of 2023, will be released in theatres on October 10th this year. The film tells the story of O'Leary's recovery from burns from a house fire when he was 9 years old, and given less than a 1% chance of survival. The film features William H. Macy playing Cardinals broadcaster Jack Buck, who developed a lifelong friendship with O'Leary.
