Kansas City, MO – The National Weather Service is warning of potentially damaging winds across the region that could possibly blow through the KC Metro on Wednesday.
The weather service has issued High Wind Watch and Warning starting Wednesday for most of Kansas and Nebraska, Central Iowa and the northwest corner of Missouri.
Forecasters say strong sustained winds between 25 mph and 40 mph are expected in the region, with gusts up to 65 mph.
The NWS says damaging winds are likely to bring down some trees and power lines and could make driving difficult.
